What is the Clamshell attachment?
Answer: Attached to the crane lifting point is metal bucket with a hydraulic operated clamping / closing mechanism that basically holds on to the loose material - normally soil. It is an extremely quick method of collecting waste ground material to clear it from work sites, these cranes are usually operated by utility companies working on underground water/electric/sewerage & roadworks.
Accredited by ALLMI & RTITB, operator licences fully recognised by the Health & Safety Executive, always check with potential employers or contractors to ensure you book the correct training course, with the attachments and control types you need.
Letters of Thanks from customers.
Hi, I just wanted to say a quick thanks, I took a 1/2 day training with you
(Laurie) in October, prior to my training course to become an LGV driving examiner with DVSA (I was already a car examiner) I'm delighted to say I passed the course just before Christmas and am now testing on Cat C CE D and BE. So thanks once again the training was excellent!
Nigel Graham, DVSA Driving Examiner, 17th January 2014.
